"Do you know this amazing cat?”

Around 1990, my friend, an illustrator, introduced a Norwegian Forest Cat to me.    

 

I was living with a Chincilla silver and a Persian brown tabby at that time.

 

I had seen a picture of dashing Norwegian Forest Cat in a book once and I was dreaming of living with the cat someday. Then, the dream became a reality.

In 1995, we welcomed a Norwegian Forest Cat. She was a granddaughter of the first Norwegian Forest Cat imported from the United States.

She was a pretty girl with fluffy brown hair. Her paws were white as if she were wearing a pair of gloves and socks.   

 

In 2000, we met a breeder of Norwegian Forest Cat, who had been fostering Norwegian of Scandinavian Line. Then in 2002, we started  Cattery Miagola.

 

We are a private cattery located near the Royal Resort Nasu in Tochigi. Kittens charged with joy, energy and love are growing!!

​１９９０年頃、
素敵な猫がいるよ！
とイラストレーターの友人に教えられたのがノルウェージャン・フォレストキャットという猫でした。
その頃は、ロマンティックな猫　チンチラシルバーとペルシャのブラウンタビーと暮らしていました。
「ノルウェーの森猫」のワイルドな姿を猫図鑑かなにかで。。。
たった一度見たきりでしたが、いつか暮らしてみたい憧れの夢の猫という想いで眺めておりました。
ところが、その「いつか、、」が現実に。。。。。
１９９５年に　はじめて我が家に白い手袋、靴下を履いたブラウンの猫がやってきました。
アメリカから日本にはじめてやってきたノルウェージャン　フォレスト　キャットの孫娘で、
ふわふわでキュートなフェイスのノルウェージャン・フォレストキャットです！
その後　２０００年にスカンジナビアラインのノルウェージャンに情熱を傾けるブリーダーさんに出会い、
２００２年からCattery Miagolaがはじまりました。
Cattery Miagolaでは、北欧の森の風景の中で暮らすようなスカンジナビア・ラインのノルウェージャン・フォレストキャット。。。。
そんな子猫たちの誕生を目指しています。
那須高原近くにある小さなプライベートキャッテリーですが、
お転婆娘ややんちゃ坊主の子猫たちが元気一杯に育っています！
